After the Nintendo Switch was released, a total of four models came out, including the latest version of OLED. Let's take a look at the features of each version.

A Nintendo Switch that seems to have changed as if nothing has changed. If you are considering buying a second hand, let's at least look at the basic information you need to know and the price range.

In fact, it's best to buy engraving, but since it's a product that comes out a lot in the used market and can sometimes be purchased cheaply, I'll tell you the advantages of each purchase, so it would be nice to refer to it.

1. Types of Nintendo Switch

Nintendo switch is great

1) early sphere

2) Battery improvement type

3) Nintendo Switch Lite

4) Most recent oled version

It is divided like this.

In fact, the specs on the device have not changed significantly or improved performance. Even when Nintendo always releases an improved version of its game console, it is a way to change the design a little, enlarge the color, improve the image quality a little, or increase the influx of light users by lightening it.

Significant performance improvements will only come in the next generation. So honestly, you can enjoy Nintendo Switch games no matter which device you buy. However, it is normal to want to buy a slightly better product when purchasing a game console worth several hundred thousand won, so let's look at the contents of each device.

1) early sphere

The Nintendo Switch was released in 2017. This is the first model released in the early years. There is no need to buy an older version (released in August 2019 with improved battery) released in 2017 or 2018 now. It is already more than 6 years old, and it is difficult to guarantee battery performance. To be honest, I think the appearance will probably have a lot of feeling of use.

There is no difference in design, and it is a model with no particular advantages. However, among older devices, devices released from March 2017 to May-June 2018 can be retrofitted. You can arbitrarily put games through the firm, so if you want a firm, you buy an early version.

Of course, the price of switch games can't be said to be very cheap, but buying an old device for a co-firm,, also, I can't play multiplayer at all (if you do multi, it takes a van device) Things can be seen as the old version after all.

 After all, the initial spherical

 - Released in 2017 ~ June 2018 (old version that can be coupled)

 - June 2018 ~ July 2019 (just the initial model that does not work)

You can think of it as being distinct.

Therefore, if you purchase an early model, I think that the model that can be adjusted has an advantage (?).

However, some sellers claim that it is a customizable device and sell it at a higher price, but I pass without looking back. The price range varies depending on the condition of the device, but I think it is appropriate in the late 100,000 to early 200,000 range.

2) Battery improvement type

The improved battery version was released in August 2019. Due to its portable nature, it is often carried around and played. This version has increased battery life. There is no difference in design, performance, and screen from the initial sphere I just mentioned, but the battery usage has increased a little.

It is not that the battery capacity has increased, but that it is because the power consumption has decreased due to the improvement of the internal chipset.

Of course, longer battery life is better, right?

It would be better to know when it was released or when it was purchased to distinguish the improved battery type, but if you have a box, you can distinguish it by the box design. We'll show you right away.

Can you see the difference? First of all, the upper box design is old (before battery improvement), and the lower box design is battery improved version. The new box has a lot of red so you can easily distinguish it.

If the seller has a box when you buy a used Nintendo, you can check it right away. It will be a clear distinction even if you don't ask when you bought it.

So, you may be wondering how much better it is to improve the battery. The initial version will vary depending on the play style, but the operating time of the old model guided by Nintendo is 2.5 to 6.5 hours, but in the case of the improved type, it is about 2 to 9.5 hours. We are notifying you that you can use it for 3 more hours.

Let's gather at Nintendo, which is prized for its pretty colors and design.

In the case of the new Nintendo Switch (with improved battery), the current middle to high price ranges from mid to mid to late 200,000 won.

If it's in the early 200,000 won , you can see it as a cheap sale.

3) Nintendo Switch Lite

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a version of the original Switch minus some features.

It looks a bit different from the existing switches, but these guys look pretty too. In particular, in the case of the original switch, there are no various colors, and it comes out completely different like the modongsup edition, but the light has many colors, so it is attractive.

It was said that the Nintendo Switch Lite was excluded from the existing switch, but first of all, the light is a portable product. Therefore , it cannot be connected to a TV, and there is no vibration function that works on Joy-Con or Pro-Con. And the screen is somewhat smaller than the old Switch. The existing Switch is 6.2inches, while the Lite is a bit smaller at 5.5inches.(I'll put a screen size comparison for each device I have at the end.)

The usage time is 3.0 to 7.0 hours, and the list price is 248,000 won, which is cheaper than the switch because it lacks many functions and parts.

In addition, the cross keys under the left joystick are also different. If you enjoy it alone, the switch's joy-con is a button type, not a cross key on the left stick, but the light has a basic cross key, so you can enjoy the switch alone, but there is no other device like this.

There are many differences, but you can choose according to your personal use, and the used price is basically in the mid-100,000 won range. I think it's cheap if it's in the low 100,000 won range.

4) nintendo switch oled

This is the latest model of the Nintendo Switch with many improvements. The biggest difference between the Nintendo Switch OLED is the change in screen size. It has been enlarged from the existing 6.2inches to 7inches, and the bezel around the screen is significantly reduced , so there is a sensible effect of the screen size. By using oled liquid crystal, the color is darker than the existing switch, adding a bright feeling. If you compare it yourself, the existing switch may feel a little watery, but the oled has clear color expression.

It may be because the liquid crystal has changed, but the weight has increased by about 16g, but I can't actually feel it. Also, in the existing switch, the liquid crystal part surrounding the display was plastic, but as it was replaced with tempered glass, the touch feeling was slightly better. Of course, since most users are using liquid crystal film, whether it is plastic or tempered glass, it may not be easy to feel it, but the change is true.

One note regarding the liquid crystal is that it is improved with tempered glass, and a scattering film (a film to prevent splashing around if the liquid crystal is damaged) is attached from the time of purchase. So the film is attached, but can I put another film on top? There are babies of various tastes.

Many of the tablet products we use are also attached to scattering films, but if you think about using tempered glass or film on top of it, attaching more film to the Nintendo Switch screen doesn't seem to be a problem. I am still writing with film attached. (I use it with a protective film attached to a tablet with scattering film, but there is no sense of difference.)

In addition , the mounting type on the back of the switch has been additionally changed.Previously, it was a bit unstable, but it has been changed to a more stable way.

Lastly, there is a change in the dock that can be output to the TV by mounting the switch.

A wired LAN port is applied. In the past, only the wireless Internet of the Nintendo Switch body was used, or the speed of the wireless was not satisfied, and a separate USB LAN port was purchased and used, but now it is possible to connect a wired LAN to the switch by default.

It will be an advantage to reduce the lag caused by the Internet connection during multiplayer games.

As such, the change in appearance is the main difference, and the use of liquid crystal, stand type, and wired LAN is different from the existing switch version. ah! The internal storage capacity has also been slightly expanded from 32G to 64G. ( 64G in this era,,)

The list price of the Nintendo Switch oled is 415,000 won, and the current mid- to high-end price is in the early to mid-300,000 won range. It's the newest one, so I don't think the price has dropped that much yet. The used price of oled and the new price of the previous version are similar (early to mid-300,000 won), but personally, if you are buying a current Nintendo Switch, I would like to tell you to buy oled unconditionally.

In particular, if you spend a lot of time using your phone, we recommend paying a few thousand won more and viewing a comfortable screen. What difference will there be before I buy it? But in reality, there is a big difference.

Of course, this is an area of personal taste, so if you are at least thinking about it, I recommend you to see the actual screen, and if you think the difference is not that great or you just need to connect it to a TV, I think it would be better to buy the previous version.

So today we learned about switch oled and previous switch versions.

If you are about to buy a Switch, I hope this has been helpful to you.

We hope that everyone will always have a happy and enjoyable gaming life.
